Scientists agree, "science needs a theme song"

It's true. The Council on Public Relations for Science, made up of 30 members picked from Universities across the country, has decided that it needs a powerful public symbol, and that symbol will come in the form of song.

"The idea is that when people will hear it, they will get the feeling that science is interesting and fun, like it is supposed to be." Said Christian Bearst, Physics Professor and member of the council. "We want the future generations to tweet about new scientific discoveries, and challenging thought, as if Astronomy was as cool as Harry Potter".

The song will be written by a select few 'cool' musicians selected by the Council. When asked if they had decided on a musical genre, Bearst quickly replied "Rap or Country, we want the kids to be playing it on their ipods". We will see.
