Rick Perry has decided NOT to get rid of energy department, campaign manager reveals.

Washington insiders are buzzing amongst news that would be Republican Presidential Nominee did not forget the name of the third department he would close in Wednesday night's speech, but was actually considering a different department closure in the midst of answering the question. "If it was up to him, we would close all the departments." Says one member of the Perry campaign. "We want to shut down a lot of stuff". Perry was not available for comment but is said to be considering keeping the energy department, and if he does insiders say it will get an 'Extreme Makeover', which would include the offices and employees. We don't exactly know what this means, but people close to him are reporting Perry and his wife are big fans of the Extreme Makeover series, and thinks this is a fresh new idea for the political landscape.
